Turnstile
The Turnstile Antenna is a type of antenna created to receive signals from all directions around it, giving horizontal and vertical polarisation. This is possible by using two dipoles placed in a particular way. They produce circular polarisation, and this can from time to time make signal quality improve significantly. But, even if the Turnstile Antenna offers a very good radiation pattern, the design of the Turnstile is more intricate than for ground plane antenna. In consequence, it needs more time and energy to build it.
